The Best Information Limited and its subsidiaries respect the confidentiality of our clients and business partners, and the privacy of our staff and visitors of our websites. We are committed to protecting it. The Company provides this Confidentiality and Privacy Statement to inform you of our policy and practices about (1) the way we handle information passed to us from our clients and business partners; (2) the way website visitors' information is collected and used and (3) staff and job applicants information handling.

Client and Business Partner Information
All information provided by our customers will be kept by us properly and solely for internal use. Unless authorised by the customer, we're committed not to reveal the names, contacts and media monitoring information of our customers for marketing or promotional purposes, or to parties unrelated to the customer's media monitoring and other services that we provide. However, we will treat it as exception when required by law or concerning copyright issues.

We value our business partners as much as we value our customers. No matter they are publishers or service providers, we treat them fairly and in the same respectful way as we treat our customers.

Website Visitors Information
We've structured our website so that, in general, visitors can view our corporate and service information without identifying themselves or revealing any personal information. Our policy regarding the privacy of visitor information covers privacy principles consistent with the current Codes of Practice as required by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data and the Personal Data (Privacy) Oridinance of Hong Kong SAR.

Staff and Job Applicants Information
We compile to the Code of Practice on Human Resource Management in Hong Kong. Personal information of our staff as well as job applicants will be kept properly and for internal use only. The information of staff will be used solely by the management and for tax reporting purposes. Job applicants are required to provide adequate but the information will be used solely for identifying suitable candidates for the job. Resume of rejected applicants will not be kept over longer than the duration as stated in the above mentioned Code of Practice.
